Accounting Manager

Requirements

• University Degree in Accounting is required
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience is required
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries and legal entities is required
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and IFRS principles
• Experience with foreign currency translations and intercompany accounting
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• ERP system experience is required; QuickBooks Online experience is a plus
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and changing environment

The right Accounting Manager will be a proactive individual who is looking to ensure the financial statements are accurate, is excited to work for a growing international company and has strong attention to detail. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee all daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, payroll, and general ledger activities. Manage the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, local statutory requirements, and internal accounting policies. Manage foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidations. Oversee cash flow management, banking activities, and working capital reporting. Ensure tax and local compliance with various government agencies. This includes Income Tax, Sales Tax, payroll tax and other regulatory requirements for international locations. Support annual audits. Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team while establishing strong internal controls and processes. Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives. Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects as needed.
