IMA is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing National Real Estate Team! This person is responsible for maintaining the overall responsibility of the entire renewal policy review, setting plans, conducting loss analysis, program design, data completeness, and coverage and premium discrepancy issues for all existing accounts. This role is eligible for remote work. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Support in winning new business and set up of new accounts Maintain intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year Kicks-off the client renewal process by creating the Game Plan and completing a coverage analysis (if applicable) and conducting thorough review of the policy and all relevant documents Prepare for and facilitate meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients Craft the marketing strategies, review submissions, and engage in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposals Pursue mastery of the craft through on-going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services Develop and maintain carrier relationships Manage a book of business greater than $1.3 million in revenue 50% + book of business focused on large/complex accounts. Play a lead role with large/complex accounts, based on primary industry levels 10% + of time is spent supporting producers in winning new business Identify with client's priorities then create a vision for their insurance program with alignment to their risk management goals, and understand client's business philosophy Structure a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clients Offer client and internal team management and coaching as appropriate Work closely with internal ancillary teams to ensure client and company success Support and demonstrate IMA's core values Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates Required skills and experiences: Experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business required Ability to think strategically based on client's priorities and marketplace cycle Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to delegate and hold team and partners accountable Experience working within Applied Epic preferred Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel) Travel up 20-25% of the time, depending on the location of the role Skilled at understanding the client's entire business as it relates to insurance protection (matching to their aversion level of risk) as it relates to specific terms & conditions Strengthens IMA brand as subject matter expert (speaking at conferences, white papers, carrier relationships, etc.) Attain and maintain professional designation or license - Property & Casualty insurance license, within the first 30-90 days of hire Holds formal specialty designation preferred (ARM, CPCU, Industry specific designation, etc.) #LI-AG1 The anticipated posting timeline for this opportunity is 04/3/2026-5/3/2026.
