We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Massage Therapist to join our Bedrock Spa team. This role is ideal for a practitioner passionate about healing touch, integrative wellness, and delivering exceptional, personalized treatments in a luxury environment. COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION: The hourly wage for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour , with the eligibility for commission of 25% on all treatment sessions conducted. and additional 18% service charge for services. Schedule: Flexible schedule based on demand. Independent Contractor Status: This position is an Independent Contractor (1099) role. The instructor is responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and business-related expenses associated with independent contractor status. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide customized massage treatments tailored to the individual needs and goals of Moss members and guests. Offer a range of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, and other therapeutic techniques as trained and licensed. Conduct pre-session consultations to assess client needs, preferences, and any contraindications. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and guest care to create a luxurious and restorative experience. Collaborate with fellow spa practitioners, aestheticians, and wellness professionals to deliver integrated wellness programming. Ensure treatment spaces are pristine, well-stocked, and aligned with the aesthetic standards of Moss and Bedrock. Educate members on the benefits of massage therapy, recovery practices, and recommended treatment plans. Uphold NYS licensing regulations, spa safety standards, and wellness best practices at all times. Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and team meetings to maintain excellence and alignment with Moss values.
