Senior Head Chef

About the role

Objective: We are looking for a Head Chef to join FNP Cakes Singapore who can lead our team of bakers and pastry chefs and create high-quality and delicious products for our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire baking process, from planning and designing the menu, to ordering and managing the supplies, to ensuring the quality and presentation of the products. Roles & Responsibility: - Planning and designing the menu and the products according to the season, the demand, and the trends. - Ordering and managing the supplies and the inventory of the bakery. - Supervising and coordinating the staff and the activities of the bakery. - Ensuring the quality, freshness, and presentation of the products. - Maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the bakery. - Resolving any problems or complaints that may arise. - Evaluating the performance and the productivity of the bakery. - Reporting and presenting the results and the feedback to the management. Requirement: - A passion for baking and a creative flair for developing new recipes and products - 5+ years of proven experience as a head chef, baker, or pastry chef in a bakery or similar setting - Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and hygiene standards - Leadership and management ability to train, supervise, and motivate the staffs. - Communication and collaboration skills to work with other departments. - Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle any issues or challenges. - Customer service and satisfaction orientation to meet the expectations and feedback of the customer.
