Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Vocational or technical certification in a related trade (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) is highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, demonstrating proficiency across multiple disciplines (Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration).
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls. EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification is a significant asset.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and safety procedures (up to 480V systems preferred).
- Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems, including pipefitting and drain cleaning.
- Aptitude for reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions and environments.
