About the role

Job Responsibilities: Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act. Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards. Ensure strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises. Advise Project Management and Senior Management on EHS issues, trends, and corrective actions. Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits. Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and executive of safety programmes. Work with the assistance of your safety team of WSH coordinators and supervisors at the project site. Monitor project EHS System activities to ensure Corporate EHS policy and objectives are met. Establish rapport with Authorities for ease in communications and support. Keeping up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes in safety guidelines. Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the management. Job Requirements: Registered WSH Officer with MOM, with minimum 5 years of registration Minimum 5 years of WSH experience with a Main Contractor. Open to work on weekends and public holidays when required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint), with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations during safety meetings and execute safety programmes. Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and ISO management systems. Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety Management or related discipline.
