  • Hardness testing experience/knowledge
  • AS9102 FAI / PPAP process experience/knowledge
  • Root cause analysis experience/knowledge. Preferred with 8D methodology
  • Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and/or batteries

Position Summary Supervise quality technicians and perform quality inspections within incoming inspection area. Will ensure safety, quality, volume, and cost goals are met. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Job Description Coordinates and directs daily activities of the assigned quality technicians to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality. Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met. Investigates, troubleshoots and provides solutions to quality issues identified that have been escalated. Provides direct supervision and training for quality team members. Ensures all customer quality requirements are integrated into the QMS and communicates to management when gaps exist in meeting those requirements. Subject matter expert of the machines/equipment and process within the incoming inspection area to ensure accurate and repeatable results are achieved.
