Grade 1 (Hourly) Position Description: The Part-Time Bartender/Server will provide exceptional customer service to all Club Members and guests through food and beverage and special event service for the University of Louisville Golf Club. Job Responsibilities: Take customer orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments. Complete all daily tasks and cleaning schedules assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager. Perform daily cash reconciliation. Prep garnishes for drinks, stock bar, and maintain a clean work area. Check identification of customers in the bar area to ensure they meet all statutory regulations. Work both private and Club events. Must have good mobility and can lift heavy objects sometimes in excess of 30 pounds. Must efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision. Promote a friendly atmosphere for all Members and guests, as well as coworkers. Ensure operations comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements. Perform other duties as appropriate.
