Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ We Require Five years of experience leading organizational change efforts for technology implementations and/or business process transformations, with a background in change management, communications, project management, or business analysis, preferably within a government or large enterprise setting One year of supervisory or team leadership experience Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field An equivalent combination of postgraduate education and/or professional level-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis We Also Value Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is preferred Proven experience as a communications specialist Experience working in a technical environment Experience working with local or state government Job Contributions Lead comprehensive stakeholder analysis and engagement efforts by identifying key stakeholders, assessing impact levels, and developing targeted engagement strategies. Conduct detailed change impact assessments to evaluate how initiatives affect business processes, roles, and systems, ensuring mitigation strategies are clearly defined and executed to support successful adoption. Supervise, coach, and develop Organizational Change Management staff by providing ongoing direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. Ensure staff are effectively supporting initiatives, meeting expectations, and continuously building their skillsets in alignment with organizational needs. Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support change initiatives, including crafting clear, consistent messaging for various audiences. Create and deliver presentations, written communications, and supporting materials that align with organizational objectives and drive awareness, understanding, and engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, project managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders. Serve as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on organizational readiness, identifying potential risks, and recommending mitigation strategies to support the successful implementation of change initiatives.
