Maintenance - Duty Technician

About the role

Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests. Maintain external façades and high-traffic areas to ensure the hotels always look their best. Conduct general maintenance and repairs Assisting in basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning services. Paint, repair, and maintain internal and external surfaces, furniture, and equipment to a high standard. Prepare, mix, and apply paints, stains, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques. Repair and install wall coverings, caulking, grouting, varnish, and lacquer finishes. Work collaboratively with a supportive, knowledgeable engineering team. A "can-do" attitude and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Trade qualification advantageous Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to work across a 7-day rotating roster (penalty rates apply). Ability to operate hand tools and small machinery safely. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
