JOB SUMMARY: Actively maintain global emissions, vehicle systems and other product certifications for off-road vehicles as assigned. Implement new regulations and industry standards. Potential to provide local product compliance team leadership at the Bangalore Technology Center as needed to support growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain and maintain global regulatory certifications of Polaris off-road vehicles as assigned. Implement regulatory requirements for new products and international markets. Ensure vehicle compliance with CPSC, US EPA, CARB, Environment Canada, European Commission, and other global regulatory agencies. Participate in periodic compliance status and continuous improvement meetings with the vehicle development and product compliance teams. Escalate product compliance issues to compliance department manager. Plan and coordinate with engineering, product management, and manufacturing to incorporate regulatory requirements in product specifications and validation plans. Provide input to Polaris industry association technical committee representatives as requested and stay informed of new requirements in assigned countries. Conduct and support product development process (PDP), part release system (PRS), and Bill of Material (BOM) compliance reviews and prepare required deliverables. Maintain and support development of automated compliance systems at Polaris. Support tracking of pre-certification units and emission-related defects. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
