About the role

The "Software Development Intern, Analytics & AI" role will report to the Manager, Analytics & AI Product Management, and will assist with program development tasks related to analytics of customers' cryptographic assets. This analytics work will improve customers' security posture by providing advanced intelligence capabilities within Keyfactor's software products. The ideal candidate should be working toward a degree in computer science or a related field, and be comfortable working with and learning new concepts in the fields of cybersecurity and AI. Applicants must be permanently authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the US Product Management and Engineering teams to build cutting-edge software solutions for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
  • Participate in designing and scoping product enhancements related to data analytics.
  • Integrate with third-party systems for analysis and product enrichment purposes.
  • Write, test, and review code for quality assurance.
  • Study selected customer data and generate reports to inform product development.
  • Innovate new techniques for analyzing data that could provide value to customers.
  • Help to refine long-term strategy for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Skills and Qualification
  • Experience writing Python and/or C# with attention to code style and quality.
  • Knowledge of cryptography, X.509 digital certificates, and network security is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, Model Context Protocol, and AI technologies is a plus.
