Responsibilities
- Analyze accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper accounting treatment
- Perform detailed reconciliations (vendor, intercompany, and aging) and investigate variances

- Review and validate Purchase Orders (POs) prior to posting
- Monitor AP aging and proactively identify risks related to overdue or incorrect balances
- Ensure proper execution of controls to mitigate errors or fraud risks
- Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Leverage advanced SAP capabilities to improve reporting and operational efficiency
- Use Excel (advanced) for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
- Collaborate with teams across Mexico and the US to resolve issues and standardize processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Titulado indispensable)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Proven experience with SAP in AP processes
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) - required
- Advanced computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- SAP knowledge in AP and AR Module, (FICO)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
- Ability to adapt to continuous improvement
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-growing work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
