About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to lead and support supplier qualification and new material qualification activities while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to assess risks, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen supplier performance and support stable manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming material quality control.
  • Support the end-to-end supplier management process in accordance with BD global procedures.
  • Lead and support supplier qualification and new material qualification activities, including risk assessments and documentation reviews.
  • Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance of supplierquality documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct supplier siteaudits to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams toinvestigate, resolve, and prevent quality issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhancesupplier process capability and overall quality performance.
  • Support evaluation projects by coordinating inspectionand testing activities, performing analyses, and publishing evaluation reports.
  • Manage incoming supplier-related non-conformances andimplement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish and utilize statistical methods to improve process control and quality performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality System requirements, applicable regulations, and company procedures.
  • Promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace through active participation in safety and sustainability initiatives.
  • Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in supplier quality management, supplier development, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality.
  • Strong understanding of supplier qualification, risk assessment, and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and statistical analysis.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier performance.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and quality system requirements within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
