Taking on trainer roles for any ad-hoc training camps organised by the SCF. Conducting private group or individual training sessions (when these are approved by the SCF). Travelling overseas with Team Singapore or with individuals representing Team Singapore and providing coaching on site. Conducting at least 2 Continuing Coach Education workshops for local coaches per year. Mentoring at least 2 local coaches per year. In collaboration with the head of the Training and Development Committee, designing a comprehensive training program for the SCF to implement across all training squads. Job Requirements: International Chess Grandmaster with minimum 5 years of coaching in an individual and/or group Must be a FIDE trainer Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills Competent in chess-playing software tools to create training materials independently Good track record in leading and motivating teams of players Ability to work independently and under pressure Applicants are expected to work on weekends
