SMSF Accountant - Perth Business Advisory Team Location: Perth, WA Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join RSM's Perth Business Advisory team and play a key role in our SMSF processing division . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team, delivering high-quality compliance services for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) while supporting other SMSF specialists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SMSF work papers and financial statements in line with current legal and accounting standards.
• Liaise with SMSF auditors and resolve queries promptly.
• Identify and address relevant accounting and compliance issues.
• Assist with client meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with lodgement programs and deadlines.
• About you:

Requirements

• Education:
• Essential: Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major
• Desirable: CA or equivalent (completed or in progress)
• SMSF Specialist course
• Experience & Attributes:
• 1-2 years in a similar role
• Proficiency with Class Super
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
