Responsibilities

  • Framework Development: Enhance and further develop a group-wide Compliance Management System (CMS) that sets minimum standards for all units and develop mandatory policies aligned with Freudenberg Corporate guidelines while allowing flexibility for local adaptations

  • Reporting & Escalation: Define standardized reporting templates for all units to ensure consistent and transparent communication
  • Technology Enablement: Drive the long-term development and deployment of a compliance management system accessible to all units for policy updates, reporting, and tracking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Freudenberg Corporate Functions)
  • Support other compliance projects and M&A post-merger integration activities

Requirements

  • University degree in Law, Business, or a related field with a focus on Compliance or Risk Management
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, governance, or risk management within an international environment
  • Proven expertise in compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and investigation processes
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices
  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution skills and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and influence across all levels of the organization
