Here are your key responsibilities: Advise the executive team on the sector's financial, strategic, and operational priorities. Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic plan, including growth, profitability, and financial optimization for the U.S. Life Insurance sector. Initiate and lead value creation initiatives through financial engineering (reinsurance, capital optimization, accounting and actuarial methods, tax strategies). Ensure the complete, accurate, and timely delivery of all financial reporting required by the CFO function and the U.S. Life Insurance sector, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses. Support the exploration of new strategic markets for the U.S. Life Insurance sector, with a focus on organic and inorganic growth (acquisitions); oversee financial models for due diligence processes and provide strategic recommendations. Implement strategies required to maintain or improve ratings from rating agencies, including proactive management of U.S. regulatory capital. Lead, engage, and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary finance organization aligned with strategic priorities. Oversee the work of the U.S. Appointed Actuary and ensure delivery of actuarial statutory requirements across U.S. jurisdictions, including compliance with U.S. requirements (PBR, cash-flow testing, etc.) and reporting to the U.S. Board of Directors.
