Our team is looking for a F acilities Technician to join them. You will report to the Facilities Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Creedmoor, NC. Job Purpose : To be responsible and accountable for providing an efficient, cost effective and responsive maintenance/facilities support service for the building, services, and surrounding areas. To ensure all work undertaken within the facility is in accordance with the company safety policies. Support potential licensor customer visits in respect of Facility & Equipment requirements. Main Responsibilities: Work with the Facility Supervisor to provide an efficient, responsive, cost-effective facilities support service. Plan, design and perform construction projects, where delegated by Facilities Manager. Report to the Facilities Supervisor any non-conformance to SLA measures. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of property including but not limited to: Painting , Grounds/car park maintenance (gritting, rubbish clearing, safety, General site maintenance. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance programs of equipment including but not limited to (where appropriate additional training/support will be given) Technical performance of equipment in the facility Servicing. Ensure appropriate maintenance/servicing records via PPM our system. Assist in fire, evacuation, and emergency procedures. Attend site on call out duties when if/requested by facilities manager which may also require you to support a call out team rotor. Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise, in accordance with the company procedures e.g., Business Continuity Plan for major incidents. Continuously ensuring improvement to operations, decreasing turnaround time i.e., in facilities repair, TPM, and working cooperatively and jointly to ensure customer satisfaction. Ability to prioritize workload in ever changing situations. Supporting and ensuring adherence to the Company's environmental procedures and ensuring changes in legislation and Company practices are reflected in the facilities procedure. Develop and maintain professional customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, customers, and service providers. Ensure site security arrangements are always adhered to and have an awareness of changes which might affect site security. Support Potential licensor customer visits to review (but not limited to) the following facility requirements... Facility footprint/ Facility infrastructure requirements Shop floor supply requirements i.e., 400/115 VAC Pneumatics supply Vacuum Fume extraction HSE conditions/requirements Other Responsibilities: Adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures. Undertake other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to time. Skills, Aptitude and Experience Required: Experience in a similar facilities role essential. Experience is a similar construction industry role is essential. Experience in directing and planning essential services such as maintenance, plant servicing, waste disposal, recycling, security. Understanding and work experience of manufacturing/engineering (desirable) Understanding and work experience of pneumatics, electricity, heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) and building management systems. (Maintenance Connection (very desirable) Demonstrates a good awareness of Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements. Able to plan and prioritize work, but also respond to business priorities as they occur. Able to use MS office applications i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook. Able to evidence written and verbal communication skills - including negotiations and facilitating skills. The ability to work unsupervised to time scales and under pressure. Experience / understanding of lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and risk assessment processes, with the willingness to develop and improve Continuous Improvement (CI) skills. Observe general housekeeping rules and always maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
