About the role

The Quantitative Senior Manager is a mid-to-senior member of the Quantitative Practice, responsible for delivering rigorous, business-relevant quantitative insights, leading consultative client engagement, and supporting the growth of NIQ's quantitative capability in Singapore This role requires strong expertise in quantitative research design, advanced analytics, and insight synthesis, with the ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations for clients. The individual will work closely with senior leaders to shape analytical approaches, elevate the quality of delivery, mentor talent, and strengthen NIQ's position as a trusted thought partner. Experience in advanced analytics, multivariate techniques, segmentation, pricing, choice modelling, forecasting, or behavioural modelling is highly valued and enables greater strategic impact across complex client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Research Leadership & Execution
  • Lead the design and delivery of quantitative research projects, ensuring methodological rigor, analytical robustness, and high-quality outputs.
  • Design questionnaires, sampling approaches, and analytical frameworks aligned to business objectives and best practices.
  • Oversee and/or conduct advanced quantitative analyses (e.g. segmentation, drivers analysis, regression, conjoint, pricing, forecasting).
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, insightful narratives that drive client understanding and decision-making.
  • Client Engagement & Consulting
  • Serve as a primary client contact on quantitative engagements, building strong, trusted consultative partnerships.
  • Translate data-driven insights into actionable, commercially relevant recommendations aligned with client priorities.
  • Support senior leaders in business development through proposal writing, solution design, and client pitches.
  • Practice & Team Development
  • Mentor and coach junior team members in questionnaire design, data interpretation, storytelling, and project management.
  • Contribute to capability building within the quantitative practice through training, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development.
  • Support the growth of the quantitative pipeline across Southeast Asia in collaboration with commercial and customer success teams.
  • Insight Quality & Delivery Excellence
  • Ensure all quantitative outputs meet NIQ quality standards, with disciplined project management and analytical excellence.
  • Review, challenge, and elevate analyses, reports, and presentations developed by junior team members.
  • Uphold high ethical, statistical, and methodological standards across all stages of research.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success Consulting, Operations, Project Management, and regional Quantitative Consulting teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end insight solutions.
  • Partner with regional leadership to understand evolving market needs and proactively shape quantitative offerings across APAC.
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, Marketing, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • 7 -10 years of experience in quantitative research within an agency, consultancy, or client-side insights function.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in quantitative research design, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Proven ability to translate quantitative outputs into meaningful, strategic recommendations.
  • Experience managing end-to-end quantitative projects, including clients, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-market, and multicultural environments.

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, including multivariate and advanced quantitative techniques.
  • Deep understanding of quantitative research methodologies and data quality principles.
