Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or equivalent
  • Experience bringing technology products to market in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
  • 3+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing operations experience
  • Knowledge of materials management processes, including inventory management, purchasing, warehouse management, and material requirements planning
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
  • PMP certificate, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
  • Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations or similar technical platforms

You'll be the strategic orchestrator who ensures high-quality, cost-effective materials reach production, directly impacting the performance and reliability of aviation technologies. We're seeking an innovative and collaborative Global Commodity Manager to drive critical aviation hardware development programs from concept to production. In this pivotal role, you'll own the management of aviation hardware components from part entry, forecasting and demand including EE, MCAD, and PD parts. You will oversee engineering change orders and plan part disposition by aligning with the contract manufacturer's production orders to meet building yields and rates. Establish processes and automation to ensure the aviation supply chain delivers high quality, cost effective materials to support production requirements. Perform cost analyses from projected yields to aid in procurement strategy adjustment as needed. Ensure that the respective commodities meet the technical specifications and cost requirements necessary for aviation terminals.
