Join us as an AI Quality Assurance Engineer Trainee! Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? As an AI Quality Assurance Engineer Trainee, you will play a key role in applying artificial intelligence to software testing within the IT Market Services (ITMS) team in Porto. You will support the delivery of reliable and innovative trading platforms by integrating AI-driven approaches into our quality assurance processes. This internship offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in an international environment focused on operational excellence and ongoing improvement of market services. Key Accountabilities You will be primarily responsible for: Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to design, implement and execute intelligent test plans that enhance the quality and reliability of software systems. Using AI-driven tools and frameworks to automate test case generation, defect detection and regression testing. Collaborating with development, integration and release management teams to identify, analyze and resolve issues using AI-powered insights. Continuously improving testing processes by integrating machine learning models that predict potential failures and optimize test coverage. Supporting the integration of AI components into Euronext's trading platforms, ensuring all AI-driven features are thoroughly tested and validated. Preparing clear and concise reports on testing activities, AI-driven insights and quality metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Contributing to the adoption of AI-powered testing practices within the team by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and adapting use cases and best practices from other companies. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required Bachelor´s or Master´s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related fields. Interest in applying AI and machine learning to software quality assurance and testing Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools (e.g. automated test generation, anomaly detection, predictive analytics) Analytical and able to interpret AI-generated test results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain AI-driven testing approaches to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Able to document and report testing outcomes, AI adoption progress, and lessons learned. Willing to help the team adopt new AI-based testing practices. Proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn about AI in software testing. Proficiency in English (French is a plus). Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.
