This Statistician (Education) position is located in the U.S. Department of Education (ED), Institute of Education Sciences (IES), National Center for Education Evaluation (NCEE) in Washington, DC. Specialized Experience for the GS-15 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-14 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience designing, conducting, and managing program evaluations in K-12 or postsecondary education, of which at least one must be an impact evaluation, including evaluations conducted by contractors. 2. Experience leading the development, publication, and dissemination of statutorily-informed program evaluation standards that apply across multiple local, state, or federal agencies or across multiple divisions within a single local, state, or federal agency. 3. Experiencing chairing local, state, or federal interagency working groups consisting of senior leaders with executing statutory functions: the collection, processing, and protection of statistical data; or the collection and processing of non-statistical data; or program evaluation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).
