This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets and trading protocols. What You Will Get To Do: Execute trades across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives, as per client instructions and portfolio manager directives. Monitor market movements, news, and events to identify trading opportunities and potential risks. Ensure all trades are executed in compliance with internal dealing policies, regulatory guidelines, and best execution principles. Reconcile trade bookings and resolve any discrepancies with counterparties and back-office teams. Prepare and distribute daily trade reports and market commentary to internal stakeholders. Assist with the onboarding of new counterparties and maintain existing broker relationships. Participate in projects aimed at improving trading efficiency, systems, and processes. Provide support for ad-hoc requests and inquiries from portfolio managers and clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market practices, industry regulations, and technological advancements in trading.
