Lead Architect - Microsoft Azure - Contract

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Own the end-to-end solution and enterprise architecture for your squad, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Azure best practices.
• Strategy & Standards: Define and maintain architectural patterns and governance frameworks to ensure scalability and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust target-state architectures.
• Governance: Lead technical design reviews and oversee architecture governance across the delivery lifecycle.
• Enablement: Support pre-sales activities, provide accurate estimations, and contribute to long-term roadmap planning.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical beacon, mentoring architects and engineers to elevate the collective capability of the team.
• Key Skills & Experience
• Proven Expertise: Significant experience in Enterprise and Solution Architecture roles within complex environments.
• Azure Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud-native design.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and influence strategic decision-making.
• Desirable Skills
• Frameworks: Experience working within TOGAF and Agile delivery methodologies.
