Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 7 talented engineers that are developing theForkManager (theFork's Restaurant Management Software) and the B2B Integrations that support it.
  • Own day to day execution decisions, delivery on time and maintaining a high bar of quality.
  • Optimize the team's processes to balance velocity with quality and participate in a culture of excellence across the board.

  • Participate in aligning engineering with product planning.

Requirements

  • Experienced leader with 3-5+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
  • Self motivated, curious and passionate engineer at heart.
  • Have an excellent grasp of system design and modern architecture patterns.
  • You have excellent knowledge or hands-on experience with technologies like React Native, TypeScript, NodeJS, DataDog and RabbitMQ.
  • Exposed to different agile methodologies / shape up and understand deeply how to apply and use them in the right context.
  • You have a quality first mentality, can set high standards for your team and participate in mentoring and upskilling the team.
  • Someone that has strong product acumen and solid understanding of product principles. Not just from a product development perspective but from the commercial and business side as well.
  • You have good experience with new devtools, AI workflows, and are always curious to experiment with and bring forward new technologies.
