About the role

For over 25 years, Global Relay has set the standard in enterprise information archiving with industry-leading cloud archiving, surveillance, eDiscovery, and analytics solutions. We securely capture and preserve the communications data of the world's most highly regulated firms, giving them greater visibility and control over their information and ensuring compliance with stringent regulations. Though we offer competitive compensation and benefits and all the other perks one would expect from an established company, we are not your typical technology company. Global Relay is a career-building company. A place for big ideas. New challenges. Groundbreaking innovation. It's a place where you can genuinely make an impact - and be recognized for it. We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers. About GRIP: Global Relay is an innovative business and this extends to its approach in developing highly engaging and informative content services for its prospects, customers, partners and employees. GRIP, which is an acronym for Global Relay Intelligence & Practice, was launched in early 2023, is an independent product and will be a new revenue generator for the parent company soon. GRIP functions with a high degree of editorial autonomy, has its own team and identity, and, being fully supported by Global Relay and its founder, is not held back by the usual foundational obstructions that limit start-ups, such as resource, infrastructure, capital and premises. GRIP delivers a modern and practical streamed content service that focuses on informing the C-suite on essential developments, news, and intelligence to enable them to conduct their roles with speed, confidence and precision. The GRIP founding team has considerable experience in this area and has a strong track-record in meeting its business objectives. Your role: You will be directly responsible for managing and expanding a high-profile component of our specialist information service: our GRIP rules navigator. As required, with direction from senior GRIP staff you will also research, source and create content for publication and/or broadcasting for our specialist information service. Because you will be a manager of our global repository of regulation, a US/Canadian law degree, deep experience in legal research and writing, and the ability to work independently are all critical. You will collaborate directly with a friendly and experienced team based in London, Stockholm and NYC. This role reports to the Head of Regulatory Content - US based in NYC.

  • Create a strategic content plan that appropriately prioritizes the incorporation of new rules and rule sets into the rules navigator

  • Incorporate guidance documents disseminated by regulators and, as relevant, those published by trusted third parties, such as law firms, into our rules repository
  • Work closely with GRIP colleagues, design specialists and editors, as well as GRIP's marketing and sales teams to help position the rules navigator as a critical regulatory intelligence tool and a competitive differentiator for GRIP
  • Support colleagues by helping incorporate intelligence on new and upcoming rulemaking and amendments into our articles, podcasts and videos
  • Participate in the development of new functionality and processes that may improve the rules navigator as well as the chances of our service being adopted by professionals and organizations
  • Ensure that all content published meets the high standards expected by our sophisticated and demanding readers
  • Assist with other projects, as required
