About the role

This position serves as a planner responsible for various airport and aviation planning activities for the Office of Airports (ARP). To qualify for this position at the FV-H level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-11. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience at the FV-H level is: Experience in evaluating studies and projects. To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience at the FV-I level is: Experience developing or reviewing master plans studies and airport layout plans (ALPs). Experience providing advisory and technical guidance to the public on airport planning, airspace, programming, airport design standards, contract administration, and in general, on all aspects of airport project implementation.
