Analytical Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Physical testing of samples to support pharmaceutical formulation development Data processing, interpretation and documentation Calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment Laboratory support activities including weekly eye-wash checks, shipping, and chemical inventory Completed bachelor's degree in chemistry or another scientific concentration Experience with physical characterization techniques such as Powder X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, vibrational spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman) and/or microscopy GMP experience is preferred Experience with powder characterization techniques to measure particle size, powder flow, and surface area. Experience with laboratory automation tools Experience with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel) Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rahway, NJ are encouraged to apply. The compensation range for this role is between $24-27/hr depending on experience level.
