Department: Location: Health Sciences Center Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Regular Term (Fixed Term) Job Req ID: R108710 Position Description: The University of Louisville Department of Surgery is seeking board certified/eligible Critical Care physicians for the Surgical ICU. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Surgery, term track, Department of Surgery, at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. The successful candidate must have completed either general surgery or anesthesiology training at an ACGME accredited program and be board certified/eligible as well as have completed a fellowship in critical care. The ideal candidate would have experience in training fellows, residents and students in critical care. Applicants are expected to have a genuine interest and commitment to critically ill surgical patients including cardiothoracic, general, transplant, and vascular patients.
