Join our P rocurement Team in Szeged and advance your career as a Procurement Operations Team Lead The Procurement Operations Team Lead is responsible for managing a global team within capability centres, which places and manages third party orders on behalf of Castrol businesses, performs contract and pricebok related activities, travel & expenses related activities and is accountable for the effective delivery of operational activities and the application of robust controls across the supported processes. The team also undertakes a range of support activities (e.g. corporate card administration, data maintenance, P2P query management, reporting) enabling data to be available in several ERP systems, orders to be processed efficiently and for detailed information on what we buy and where we spend our money to be gathered and used to maintain and improve performance. In this role You will: 1. People Leadership & Capability Lead, develop, and manage a team of Contract Enablement, Order Management and Travel & Expense analysts to ensure high performance, engagement, and delivery excellence. Allocate and manage work effectively, acting as the first point of escalation for operational or people-related issues. Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and continuous learning to maintain the required skills, knowledge, and quality standards. Ensure appropriate resourcing and capability mix, including recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and ongoing development. Create and sustain an inclusive, motivating team environment with open communication, clear expectations, and strong engagement. Set clear objectives and performance goals, recognising and rewarding strong performance and key achievements. Serve as the escalation point for team members and end users, ensuring timely resolution of complex or high-impact issues 2. Service Delivery & Operational Excellence Be accountable for end‑to‑end Contract Enabling and Procurement Operations service delivery, ensuring continuity, quality, and compliance with agreed service levels, Key Performance Indicator, and operational standards. Supporting the team's operation, providing guidance and resolving complex issues. Ensure prioritised operational activities and initiatives are planned, resourced, coordinated, and delivered effectively. Lead the development, documentation, and continuous optimisation of operational processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality. 3. Stakeholder & Business Partnership Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with internal and external collaborators, acting as a trusted Procurement Operations representative. Collaborate closely with supported businesses and functions to align service delivery with business needs and expectations. Manage key vendor relationships, including SAP Concur and corporate card providers, to ensure effective service delivery, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with IT and ERP support teams to coordinate system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support operational requirements. 4. Risk, Compliance & Controls Ensure effective controls are designed, implemented, and operating across all relevant processes and systems. Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls, including accurate and timely reporting. Identify, manage, and raise risks appropriately to minimise operational, financial, and compliance impacts. Work with Internal Control teams to maintain controls owned within the team and support internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with applicable country‑specific policies and regulatory requirements to protect bp from negative impact. Maintain ownership of operational control management activities to ensure robust governance and compliance. 5.
