- Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Previous work in an AS9100-compliant environment
- IPC J-STD-001 and/or NASA 8739.4 Crimp, Cable, Harnessing certification
- Ability to work on and around critical hardware and systems such as spacecraft, aircraft, etc.
- Experience with electronic drawing configuration management tools
- Basic Compensation:
- Jobs on this contract range from $88,500-$132,800.00 . Pay range is specific to the Laurel Maryland area.
- The offered rate will be based on the position, contract affordability, the selected candidate's working location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and in consideration of internal parity.

KBR is looking for a Harness Assembly Technician to fabricate, assemble, and test flight and ground support equipment harnessing for numerous applications based on written documentation and workmanship standards at Applied Science Laboratory. The Harness Assembly Technician will use schematic drawings, wire lists, and written procedures to build cable assemblies from individual parts and components and perform verification testing of completed assemblies. The primary responsibility will be Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and spacecraft flight harness assembly, including reading and understanding harness schematics, executing operational steps of a Work Order Traveler, and determining routing based on drawing, wiring mock-up, or chassis/rack layout.
