Payroll Executive (Construction industry)

About the role

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Senior Payroll Executive to join their dynamic team: Employment Type: Permanent Position: Payroll Executive Location: Central Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours Salary Package: Up to $5,500 + Performance Bonus Job Responsibilities: Administer monthly payroll cycles, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements. Gather and validate attendance, overtime, allowance, deduction, and other payroll-related information from HR and project teams. Ensure payroll is processed within tight timelines and free of discrepancies. Prepare and issue payslips, payroll reports, and related summaries for management review. Handle statutory contributions, tax submissions, and other required payroll filings in line with local employment laws. Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly, providing clear and timely responses to employee queries. Liaise with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and efficient handling of payroll matters. Support internal and external audits, annual reconciliations, and compliance checks related to payroll. Job Requirements: Minimum Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. At least 4 years of hands-on experience in managing full-cycle payroll, preferably from construction industry. Strong understanding of local employment and payroll regulations, statutory reporting, and compliance procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
