Prototype Wire Person

Responsibilities

• Electro-Mechanical Assembly.
• Building sub-assemblies and complete systems to drawings and build procedures within Ultra Communications.
• Continuously monitor product quality during build to improve upon production performance targets.
• Panel wiring
• Cabling assembly and crimping
• Rack Wiring
• PCB Assembly
• Assembly and re-work of components
• Wiring test boxes
• Soldering, Through Hole, Surface mount components
• Manage security of information as defined in the Information Security Policy
• Required Skillset & Experience:
• Experience of electrical /mechanical assembly and wiring, including prototype wiring.
• You take pride in attention to detail, maintain high standards and can work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read Electrical / Mechanical drawings and work accurately to procedures.
• Creative thinker and eager learner
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.

As Prototype Wire Person, you will be working within a small team to produce high quality satellite communications equipment to required standards and timescales. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance.
