Our London-based regional commodities operations team is highly skilled in providing operational expertise and control to our growing Commodities and Global Markets Division. You will work closely with the trading and sales teams and have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of physical commodity transactions which span agricultural, base metals and oil products. As a member of the Commodities Operations team, you will validate trade bookings, review physical documentation such as bills of lading and letters of indemnity, draft sales contracts, and respond to contracts from counterparties. You will also facilitate cash and physical asset settlements and reconcile cash and physical balances. Client service delivery will form a critical part of your role, while acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external clients. You will utilise problem-solving skills and collaborate with local and global colleagues to facilitate smooth daily operational processes and to identify and deliver process improvements.
