Requirements

• 15+ years life insurance experience in actuarial and/ or risk management functions
• Preferably worked in multinational life insurance company
• Deep understanding of EV, VNB and local regulatory standards
• Deep understanding of life insurance products in Philippines
• Ability to manage a team of actuarial associates and achieve results by working with and through cross-functional teams

Regular reporting and Business Planning Lead embedded value (EV), value of new business (VNB) and other KPI reporting such as expense overrun, persistency and claim experience in both regular reporting cycles and business planning Reinsurance administration and settlement Cooperate and communicate with counterparts in local office, group office, and external parties such as consultants, independent reviewers and auditors Present business results to senior management and group office 2. Pricing Implementation and Coordination Manage pricing strategy, processes, systems and product approval Ensure effective adoption of pricing guidelines Coordinate with other departments and functions to plan and implement pricing of new products and features Liaise with bank partners to agree features and compensation structures for new products 3. Team Management and People Development Develop and coach team members Identify potential candidates in the market to fill up vacancies in the actuarial team Job Requirements: Education & Certification: University graduate with major in Actuarial Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics or Finance Fellowship member of an internationally recognised actuarial professional body and Fellow of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines (FASP)
