The Sr. Learning & Development Professional serves as a subject matter expert, leading the design and delivery of comprehensive professional and leadership development programs while liaising on technical training initiatives. This role plays a critical part in building leadership capability across the organization by designing scalable programs that strengthen current and emerging leaders, enhance management effectiveness, and support progression planning. This position partners closely with business leaders to assess skill gaps, identify learning and leadership development needs, and implement targeted solutions that build both individual and organizational capability. As part of the Human Resources team, the Sr. Learning & Development Professional will report to the Director of Organizational Development and will collaborate with business leaders, HR team members, and subject matter experts to advance the organization's leadership and talent development strategy. This position is located on-site at our headquarters in Houston, Texas, Monday-Thursday with a flexible work schedule. Create and facilitate leadership experiences such as cohort-based programs, action learning, and coaching interventions Partner with senior leadership to identify and build leadership pipelines and high-potential talent development strategies Integrate leadership development with talent processes (performance management, progression planning, employee engagement) Leverage data and analytics to measure program effectiveness, leadership bench strength, and ROI of development initiatives Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring leaders are equipped to drive organizational transformation Develop and maintain a leadership competency model aligned with business strategy Coach leaders and managers to enhance individual and team effectiveness Develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the company's organizational structure, culture, and business objectives to develop best practices and implement programs that are aligned with, and reinforce, the company's organizational goals
