Owns the job file and also has responsibility for creating and updating relevant documentation and Customer Invoices in the system. Position Overview : Execute the proper operation, monitoring, and management of air export and import shipments, in accordance with the established operational and administrative guidelines and KPIs. Key responsibilities & duties Execute and manage air import and export shipments based on the contracted service, including scheduling logistics services such as pickup/delivery, warehousing, cross-docking, customs clearance, and international freight with various vendors, agents, and overseas offices. Oversee shipment costing and invoicing, ensuring accurate financial processing. Maintain clear communication with customers, agents, and overseas partners regarding shipment progress, while proactively identifying issues and presenting solutions that may require escalation to the responsible area. Ensure compliance with established KPIs and operational processes by executing the required instructions. Collect and validate all necessary documentation for customs and export or import processes. Additionally, analyse WIP/ACR reports and closures, resolve warehouse income-related issues, and capture and maintain data quality in line with customer requirements and guidelines. Work experience and skills Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade, International Business, or a related field, with preferred three years of proven experience in logistics operations within a freight forwarding environment. Solid knowledge of Incoterms, financial closures, documentation, and operational processes is required. Additional preferred qualifications include understanding of airline routes, frequencies, and cargo capacities arriving to Mexico. Intermediate level of Excel (including charts, filters, and basic functions) and a strong understanding of customs processes. An English proficiency level of at least 80% (spoken, written, and reading) is required. Certifications in Dangerous Goods and IATA (GC/DGR) are considered a strong advantage.
