About the role

Prime Video on Fire TV Solutions is responsible for maintaining the quality of the Prime Video experience across Fire OS , Vega OS . We operate multiple test labs for both manual and automated testing and engage in testing the most critical features and product launches. Our work directly improves the viewing experience of millions of Amazon customers on a daily basis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to drive automated and manual testing within Prime Video on Fire TV platform across a broad technology stack, with deep involvement on projects from design through development and deployment. In this role, you will work closely with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation, as well as with Product Management and UX designers to understand customer usage models and develop test plans that approximate real-world environments. You will develop automated tests to accelerate testing cycles and release faster to our customers, delivering both manual and automated solutions for customer-facing features across Live Sports, Movies and TV Shows. Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices, including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies, licensed fan favorites, and add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll, and MGM+. Key job responsibilities 1. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases. 2. Bug Identification and Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects. 3. Automation tooling: Develop, extend, and maintain automated tests on Fire OS, Vega OS and Living Room Clients to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of quality throughout the development lifecycle. 5. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall product quality.
