Responsibilities will include: Supporting faculty research projects, including data collection and analysis Working with large datasets using statistical software such as Stata, R, or Python Assisting with tutorials, problem classes, and other teaching support activities Supporting assessments and marking in line with established criteria Providing academic support and constructive feedback to students Collaborating closely with academic staff across teaching and research initiatives Developing your own research capability within a high-performing academic environment What we are looking for We are seeking motivated and academically strong candidates with a clear commitment to research and higher education. You should have: An MSc (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline Experience in tutoring, teaching assistance, or other learning support activities Experience working with large datasets using software such as Stata, R, or Python Strong subject knowledge in finance, econometrics, economics, or a related area An understanding of research methods and statistical techniques Excellent analytical, organisational, written, and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines effectively A passion for research and academic excellence is essential, as the role offers significant opportunity to collaborate with faculty on research projects while gaining valuable teaching experience.
