Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced FEA and multiphysics simulations to support design, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex systems.

  • 5-15+ years of industry experience in FEA or multiphysics modeling
  • Strong proficiency in Ansys (Mechanical / Workbench required; APDL experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to correlate simulation results with physical testing
  • Strong understanding of fundamental physics and practical engineering applications
  • Experience driving design decisions through analysis, not just supporting them
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present to cross-functional teams and leadership Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
  • Nonlinear structural analysis, Thermal and thermomechanical modeling, Vibration or fatigue analysis and/or Coupled multiphysics simulations

  • U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE
  • $121,050.08 - $181,575.12
  • This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
  • multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
  • location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
  • you develop within the role.
  • Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
  • Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
  • employees working 20+ hours a week).
