Fire & Life Safety Engineer / Consultant (Hospitality)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for key Jensen Hughes projects across Middle East for various Fire and Life safety projects primarily in the hospitality sector
• Conducting code consulting, fire safety drawing reviews and reports.
• Attending client project & design meetings, managing project expectations and completing the assigned tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Preparation and presentation of technical reports and
• Lead and carry out design reviews, participating in various levels of Business Development meetings and presentations with Clients assisting in development of effective business proposals and solutions.
• Travel extensively ( over 50% ) to support hospitality meetings, workshops, audits and inspections
• Qualifications and other Requirements
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Fire safety Engineering.
• Relevant experience in Code consulting and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment.
• 5 plus years of experience in Fire engineering.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, enjoying professional challenges, wanting to be an integral part of the long-term growth of Jensen Hughes.
• Strong Project Management capabilities and understanding of Project Financial

Job Overview Fire & Life Safety Engineer / Consultant will be a highly motivated and experienced individual with strong analytical and creative thinking skills to manage diverse projects workload across the Middle East. This will be a client facing role and therefore a solid technical understanding along with excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. In this role, you will demonstrate experience and passion in Code Consulting, Performance Based Design, and Fire Protection System Design while handling a complex portfolio of fire and life safety project across varied sector comprising of high-rise building, commercial centers, bridges, stadiums and others. This position will be based out of Riyadh -Saudi Arabia or Dubai -UAE and will be responsible for projects across Middle East , involving 50% travel
