About the role

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), in the Program Marketing (PEM) organization within Energy Efficiency (PE), Power Services organization (P). A successful candidate in this position will be responsible for supervising, managing and directing the Energy Efficiency Program Marketing group to manage budgets, customer/conservation goals, cross-functional marketing, improvements, and administrative support. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as meeting all of the following: 1) Experience leading or supervising a professional team to deliver marketing, communications, or public outreach programs, which includes planning work assignments, evaluating staff performance, and managing project budgets; 2) Experience planning and executing integrated marketing or communication campaigns (such as utilizing digital media, print, or outreach events) designed to influence consumer behavior or promote utility/energy programs to a large customer base; and 3) Experience building and managing relationships with diverse external partners or stakeholders (such as utility companies, corporate clients, or government entities) to coordinate joint business ventures, resolve program issues, or negotiate contract terms. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
