About the role

Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager within our Resource and Industrials division (R&I), you will support the design and delivery of continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the business. You'll partner with operational teams to identify inefficiencies, analyse data, and implement practical solutions that improve safety, performance, and customer outcomes. You'll play a key role in embedding sustainable ways of working and ensuring improvements are effectively adopted and maintained across our operations. This is a fixed term 12 month contract based in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne preferably, travelling to a variety of our R&I sites both locally and nationally. This position suits an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across both operational sites and Toll head offices.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across operational sites
  • Conduct operational reviews to identify inefficiencies
  • Facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions
  • Analyse operational data and identify trends
  • Develop reports and dashboards
  • Implement and embed process improvements
  • Support change management and adoption
  • Develop training materials and documentation
  • About You
  • Experience or exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or CI methodologies (Green Belt desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel, Power BI or similar)
  • Experience in logistics or operational environments preferred
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Hands-on and adaptable approach
  • Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally
  • Current and valid driver's licence
  • Comfortable working in operational/site environments
