What You'll Do as an Assistant Product Technologist In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day: Support product quality assurance by assessing commercial viability, testing needs, and identifying risks in fit, fabric and components. Assist in product development, ensuring adherence to best practice processes, quality standards and cost efficiencies. Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and returns data; deliver timely solutions and maintain accurate reporting and logs. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical issues, improve testing outcomes, and enhance overall product quality. Monitor supplier performance, highlight risks, and support pre-shipment inspections and continuous improvement plans. Develop competitor awareness to benchmark quality, performance, and fit against key market players. Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to training, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives in quality standards.
