As a Civil Designer working with our Perth team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design work for civil projects using AutoCAD and 12D. You will be responsible for Design and drafting of multi-disciplinary projects Preparation of construction documentation Review of drafting documentation Supporting and approving associated technical work directly related to the discipline Playing an active role in the business groups through regular meetings, workshops, training and business planning Ideally, you will have 3-5+ years of experience in civil design within a professional services or consultancy environment. In addition, you will also have: Diploma of Engineering Technology (or similar) or significant experience as a civil designer Proficiency in 12D and AutoCad 2D A thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to mining, land development, storm water, flood modelling, civil infrastructure or roads (preferred disciplines) Experience working with clients in the mining sector highly desired Ability to define problems and relevant constraints and risks and discuss with Engineers Willingness to coach junior designers with advice on solutions and develop fit-for-purpose solutions to engineering problems Ability to autonomously develop complex designs and drawings Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organisation The Benefits Competitive remuneration and benefits.
