SSIS Production Support -Module Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SSIS and ETL-related issues in a production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SSIS/ETL solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and integrity of SSIS and ETL jobs.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize ETL workflows for efficient data processing.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, data mappings, and process flow diagrams.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in SSIS, ETL, and data integration technologies.
• Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and respond to critical issues in a timely manner.

• Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SSIS development and administration.
• Proficient in SQL programming and query optimization.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SSIS packages.
• In-depth understanding of database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.
• Relevant certifications in SSIS or ETL technologies are a plus.
• Candidate should be open to short-term travel and participation in on-call support activities as required.
