POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst will provide essential support in various aspects of financial reporting and accounting processes including assisting in the preparation of public financial statements with related notes disclosures and supporting NFI Group's consolidation process. The position plays a critical role in maintaining an efficient financial close process and is essential to ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial information to contribute to the overall success of the financial reporting function. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Assist in the preparation of public financial statements including notes disclosures Assist in the NFI Group's consolidation process Assist with Financial close process within an ideal 5-day timeline Assist with the development of the External Reporting Roadmap Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policy manuals Understand/develop relationship with other Business Units, including providing advice and corporate positions Prepare reconciliations of assigned accounts and related reports Prepare reconciliations of assigned accounts and related reports Analyze information and work with data owners to maximize shareholders returns Assist in regular external and internal audit Preform other duties and/or projects as assigned CPA designation Experience in accounting/audition with a strong knowledge of IFRS Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in MS Excel Experience with Oracle, EPM/Hyperion considered an asset Effective interpersonal and communication skills Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision) RPP - Group RRSP Group Life - AD&D - Critical Illness Insurance Paid Time Off Benefits Training & Development Employee Discounts Employee Assistance Program - Counseling
