- Partner with Product Development, Compliance, Packaging Engineering, and Creative to ensure manufacturability; annotate design intent and provide build notes (not primary on mechanicals).
- Prepare clean handoffs: organized files, naming, links, and spec notes so production/prepress can move fast.
- QA your work: hierarchy, legibility, color calls, dieline fit; support key proof reviews for creativeintent.
- Share best practices with peers/juniors; contribute to libraries, templates, and checklists.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in packaging and brand design (CPG/beauty/fragrance or adjacent), ideally with mass/private label experience.
- Strong visual craft: typography, composition, hierarchy, and color systems; portfolio shows breadth across aesthetics and depth of refinement.
- Proven ability to turn direction into distinctive, scalable on-pack systems.
- Clear presenter and storyteller; can defend choices with consumer and commercial logic.
- Collaborative, organized, and reliable under deadlines.
- Working knowledge of print/production to design.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (expert).
- Strong knowledge of Figma or Keynote/PowerPoint for guidelines and sell-in.
- 3D familiarity (KeyShot, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Adobe Substance/Dimension) for believable. Mockups is a plus.
