About the role
Searoutes has a vision to help the logistics industry play its part in the reduction of carbon emissions. We enable shippers to build and execute GHG reduction strategies, and are on a mission to become the standard for carbon management in logistics. We are convinced that reducing GHG emissions in logistics is an operational problem, so we leverage modern algorithms to go beyond standard methodologies, and give shippers the visibility they need to make an impact. If you are passionate about the environment, proactive and pragmatic in getting things done, and love to work in a complex but fascinating industry where you learn every day - then this is the place for you. We remain remote first with most of our team based in Europe. We're looking for a Delivery Engineer to join our Customer Success team and own the end-to-end delivery of CO2 and emissions reports for our clients. You'll work directly with the raw data we produce, process it into meaningful outputs, and present your findings to clients in calls and reviews. This isn't a spreadsheet job. We're looking for someone who reaches for a script or an AI tool before they reach for Excel - someone who thinks about how to automate the boring parts so they can spend their time on the interesting ones. You'll connect data sources, clean and transform messy inputs, and build lightweight pipelines that make report delivery scalable and repeatable. You'll be the person clients trust to explain what their emissions numbers actually mean, where the data comes from, and how to act on it. You'll also be a key point of contact when things go wrong - diagnosing issues before clients even notice them, and guiding new clients through their first API integration until they're up and running confidently. That means being as comfortable in a client meeting as you are in a terminal. What you'll do Process and deliver monthly and quarterly CO2/ocean procurement reports for a portfolio of clients, from raw data to final output Guide new clients through API onboarding - from first call to first successful integration - making sure they understand the data model and can get the most out of what we offer Build and maintain automation workflows (scripts, AI-assisted tools, API integrations) that reduce manual work in the data preparation process Connect internal systems, client data feeds, and third-party tools to keep delivery pipelines running smoothly Identify data quality issues, investigate anomalies, and implement fixes - at the source when possible Proactively monitor for issues across your client portfolio and resolve them before they become escalations; when something breaks, you own the investigation and the fix Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients on API usage - reviewing how they're querying our endpoints, spotting underused features, and suggesting better approaches that unlock more value for them Present reports and methodology to clients in regular reviews, answering technical questions with clarity Work closely with the product and engineering teams to flag patterns and feed client insights back into the platform Document your processes so the team can scale what you build You'll thrive here if you have... An engineering or technical background - you're comfortable with data, systems, and problem-solving at a hands-on level Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred) - you don't need to be a full-stack developer, but you should be able to write code that solves real problems Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, clean and transform data, and accelerate workflows Experience connecting systems: APIs, webhooks, no-code/low-code tools, or custom integrations A proactive, ownership mindset on client issues - you don't wait for a ticket to tell you something is broken Client-facing experience: you're able to present technical outputs clearly to non-technical audiences and hold your ground when asked tough questions Fluent in English (French is a plus) Nice to have Experience in the maritime, logistics, or freight industry Familiarity with emissions accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, GLEC, EU ETS..) Experience delivering reports or data products in a B2B SaaS context As part of our team, you will: ๐ฑ Have a chance to re-shape the future of climate in the logistics . ๐ฉ๐ป Be empowered to deliver your best work remotely, and get a stipend to set you up. ๐โ๏ธ Have a flat hierarchy, where you will have direct access to the founders and won't be tied up in politics. ๐ Have a high degree of learning and ownership in a dynamic environment. ๐ Take part in our team-building events
